Hedieh Kashani is an associate at Schofield Macchia and Associates. Ms. Kashani is a firm advocate of pre-trial release, and believes strongly in justice for all her clients.
Ms. Kashani completed her ungraduated studies in Iran, and completed her Masters of English at the University of Toronto. Shortly thereafter, she attended Osgoode Hall Law school and was called to the Bar in 2022.
Ms. Kashani represents clients facing criminal and quasi-criminal charges, with a special focus on appeals. Her strength lies in complex Charter litigation and she frequently contributes to challenges concerning police stops, search warrants, and unreasonable delay. She works collaboratively with clients and other lawyers in the firm to formulate novel ideas specific to the case at hand. This is also the same type of creativity that she applies in negotiating optimal results for her clients with other justice actors. She takes a holistic approach to representing her clients' best interests.
Ms. Kashani also speaks fluent Farsi.
